New Team logo contest 50$ or 4000 points prize

Hi everyone,
I'm a member of a video game team and we want to change our logo.
We had a designer but he suddently quit the team ... so we decided to post a contest here.
We also decided to reward the winner with a prize of 50$ or 4000 points.
We know this is not much money ... but we don't have much money as a team.
Also the winner of the contest will be the one choosen for being our futur team logo.
The contest end wil be the 01/15/2015

Here is the detail of the contest :
*obligatory
Size* : international print format (giant format)
Applicant : Video game's team
Team name : Les Empafés (aka: PaF Team or PAF)
Motto/Slogan : The Band of Potes
Colors* : Red (dark), Black/Grey/White
Symbol* : Red Bulldog
Main shape : In a circle or a shield (in a shape of a badge/emblem/blazon)
Theme/context :
Warrior/Soldier, our team plays war games. Historically the team has been created on the Battlefield Vietnam game. Since then the team has evolved and were developed on other types of games.
The bulldog is the great symbol and the main element we need to find in the logo.
The spirit of the team we need to feel when we see the logo should be : pride, fun , good child, enjoyment of the game , commitment, and friendship.
After many modfication in the team organisation, we want to redesign the logo with a new style and more modernity who can register us in the time and the topicality.
Example :
A red bulldog profile with a great look , chin up , an American soldier's helmet to the Vietnam War on the head, a cigar lit on edge of the lips, cartridges attached to the helmet, painted in a metallic circle whose painting is peeling off time...
Bonus : It would be really a plus if we could have alternatives logo, like a warrior bulldog somewhat futuristic, a medieval one ... etc
Main idea :
Our preference necessarily goes towards a logo that can fit multiple themes, without having to change it! Or staying on the origins of the creation of the team that is on the game Battlefield Vietnam which, as its name indicates the theme to Vietnam War .
